Budget

Set your budget, it’s important unless you have an endless supply of money. Setting a budget is a good starting point to any project. Be realistic and don't put yourself under pressure. 

Research

Do your research on websites, blogs and furniture retailers to look for ideas that interest you. This will help you with idea creation. Knowing what appeals to you will help you come up with colors and styling ideas.

Start with the bedroom

It’s were you spent a third of your life. Make the bed and side table a priority purchase. Have a plan in your head of how you want the room to look and add accessories such as wallpapers, mirrors, table lamps and throws to add character.

Don’t buy everything at once

Make sure you are dedicated to a particular item before you make a purchase. If you buy everything at once and change your mind then you are causing yourself much more stress. Start with the colors and type of flooring in the room before you decide on the furniture you want to buy.

Be creative and live stylish

Be creative and add that personal touch in every room, but more importantly have fun decorating your space.
